Location
The eco-house "Življenje na visokem" is in the center of Slovenia, in the Lower Savinsky valley, among picturesque hills, at the height of 520 meters above sea level on the area more than 8 hectares.
Our house is located 10 km from the highway Maribor-Koper. You can easily reach us at any time of the year - by the house passes asphalt road. Also, if you wish, we can meet you at the airport of Vienna or Ljubljana.
From our house to Ljubljana 51 km, to Graz 135 km, to Zagreb 180 km.
There are buses from Ljubljana to Tabor (route Ljubljana-Celje) and from Celje in Tabor (route Celje-Vransko).
Use highway E57 until you reach Vransko Junction. Drive on the road 447 straight ahead until you will see Tabor sign. Pass villages Ojstiška Vas and Tabor, drive to Loke village. Then you reach Loke, in Y turn drive LEFT (to the forest direction). Drive until you pass very small bridge over Konjeshchica brook (it will be 5 garbage bins on your left side). Now choose right road up the hill, drive until you see "Zivljenje na visokem” sign. Correct GPS coordinates are: 46°12'17.2"N 15°00'56.5"E (46.204780, 15.015693).
Turn right at Vransko junction.
If you drive from Ljubljana,
turn right onto the road 447
to Žalec.
If you drive from Maribor,
turn left onto the road 447
to Žalec.
Go straight ahead (to Žalec, Celje).
Turn right to Tabor.
Turn left to Miklavž.
Ignore this sign! Go straight ahead.
Keep right (to Crni Vrh).
Keep left to Miklavž.
Keep right up the hill.
